comment on [Trial Data] phase 2 biopsy endpoints, and what "resolution" means in c/survodutide · 12 points · 5 days ago

the weight numbers are secondary to what this is being developed for

permalink

comment on [Caution] hepatic endpoints need biopsy data, not an ALT screenshot in c/survodutide · 3 points · 12 days ago

research material is not approved for human use, which is why the clinical record here is thin

comment on [Milestone] first time in a decade my blood pressure is normal in c/progresspics · 18 points · 16 days ago

A goal weight chosen before starting is a prediction made with the least information you will ever have. Revising it is ordinary rather than a failure.

comment on [Struggle] eight weeks, 2kg, doing everything right, and it is grinding me down in c/progresspics · 35 points · 23 days ago

nobody owes anybody a starting weight

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify personal import in c/customs · 4 points · 24 days ago

Import rules are national and they distinguish between personal and commercial import, with different thresholds, documentation and consequences. A general answer is almost always wrong somewhere.

comment on is it normal to get constipation at week 7 in c/survodutide · 57 points · 1 months ago

Histological endpoints in this field are scored on biopsy: resolution of steatohepatitis without worsening of fibrosis, or improvement in fibrosis without worsening of steatohepatitis. Both are harder to achieve and to interpret than an imaging surrogate.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring jurisdiction at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/customs · 1 points · 1 months ago

the answer for the UK does not apply anywhere else

permalink

comment on [Non-Scale Win] my knees stopped hurting and i cried about it in c/progresspics · 6 points · 2 months ago

text only here, by community rule, and it works better than you would think

permalink

comment on help me understand declared value, I have read the wiki twice in c/customs · 50 points · 3 months ago

do not post your own address details when asking

permalink

comment on [Discussion] hepatic fat is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/survodutide · 44 points · 3 months ago

This. Biopsy-confirmed and imaging-suggested are different evidentiary categories and get run together constantly.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about non-scale victory in c/progresspics · 4 points · 3 months ago

Nothing on this board is medical advice, and rate, target and method are questions for somebody who knows your history.

permalink

comment on biopsy is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/survodutide · -37 points · 4 months ago

Independent purity results for this compound are very sparse across the whole site, which means any impression about consistency is built on almost nothing.

comment on stalled for 8 weeks at 1.7mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/survodutide · 37 points · 5 months ago

a liver endpoint is not a weight endpoint with better marketing

permalink

comment on switched from 1.0mg to 2.4mg and nausea got better, not worse in c/progresspics · 1 points · 7 months ago

Correction: 18kg over 16 months is a different claim from 18kg in a month, and the post reads as the second.

comment on dual agonist — 21 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/survodutide · 44 points · 7 months ago

Correction: that is the imaging endpoint, not the histological one. The paper reports both and they differ substantially.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the goal advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/progresspics · 81 points · 9 months ago

Push back on the goal number. You chose it before you knew what any of this felt like.

permalink

comment on help me understand seizure, I have read the wiki twice in c/customs · 28 points · 10 months ago

A hold, a request for information and a seizure are distinct administrative events. Each has its own process and deadlines, and the notice itself states which one you have.

permalink

comment on my ALT moved and I cannot work out whether dual agonist is why in c/survodutide · 164 points · 10 months ago

Looked for independent results across this whole site and found almost none. Worth knowing before forming an opinion.

permalink

comment on genuine question about MASH that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/survodutide · 7 points · 12 months ago

Has anyone posted an independent purity result for this compound?

permalink

comment on genuine question about MASH that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/survodutide · 34 points · 1 year ago

Agreed that the endpoint definitions matter enormously and almost nobody reads them before quoting a response rate.

permalink

comment on [Question] timeframe — what am I missing here in c/progresspics · 11 points · 1 year ago

Are you measuring anything other than weight?

permalink

comment on [Question] timeframe — what am I missing here in c/progresspics · 1 points · 1 year ago

I would not treat a two-kilo range as a regain. Weight varies day to day in everybody.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get nausea at week 58 in c/progresspics · 17 points · 1 year ago

the timeframe matters as much as the number

permalink

comment on [Results] 12 weeks on 0.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/progresspics · 109 points · 1 year ago

nobody owes anybody a starting weight

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for jurisdiction posts in c/customs · 1 points · 2 years ago

Small fix — those rules apply to commercial import. Personal import is governed separately and more narrowly.

permalink

comment on someone explain survodutide to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/survodutide · 26 points · 2 years ago

phase 2 in liver disease is a different evidence question from weight

permalink

comment on [Lab] 8th independent test on JEEP — 97.2% on a claimed 97.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/survodutide · 3 points · 2 years ago

That figure is from the obesity programme, and this thread is about the hepatic one.

Agreed — and the endpoint definitions are where the actual claim lives.

comment on anyone else notice glucagon kicking in around week 47 in c/survodutide · 155 points · 2 years ago

Assumed the weight numbers were the point and was corrected. They are secondary to what this is being developed for.
