stalled for 12 weeks at 10mg and I refuse to panic this time. It is the sort of thing everyone half-believes and nobody writes down. 12 weeks and 10mg — those are the…

comment on does reconstitution actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/reconstitution · 0 points · 1 year ago
I would not round that figure. At 10mg/mL a rounding error of two units is a real fraction of the intended amount.

Correction: TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme. The number you are quoting is from the phase 2 readout, which is a different trial.
comment on triple agonist: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/retatrutide · 709 points · 1 year ago
Nothing containing this compound is approved anywhere. Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, and that is a statement of fact rather than a disclaimer.
comment on stalled for 11 weeks at 12.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/retatrutide · 25 points · 1 year ago
Stopped at a low step because there was no reason to go further and no data to tell me what further would do.
comment on TRIUMPH: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 2 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning the escalation point. Almost every difficult report on this board is from somebody who went up quickly.
comment on [Discussion] the insulin syringe advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/reconstitution · 14 points · 1 year ago
Asked SGN what volume they reconstitute to for their own stability testing and they answered in one line. Useful thing to know.
comment on glucagon: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 536 points · 1 year ago
Disagree. "More receptors means more effect" is not how any of this works and the trial data does not support the linear story.
comment on someone explain phase 2 to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/retatrutide · 172 points · 2 years ago
Yes — the comparison threads are apples to oranges and they generate more heat than anything else here.
comment on [Discussion] the mg/mL advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/reconstitution · 39 points · 2 years ago
Small fix — a U-100 syringe is 100 units per mL. If yours is marked differently it is not U-100 and the whole calculation changes.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify insulin syringe in c/reconstitution · 15 points · 2 years ago
Spent 24 weeks confused about this until somebody drew the table for me. 10mg, 2mL, 5mg/mL, 0.75mg is 15 units. That is the whole thing.
comment on week 19 check-in — 9kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/retatrutide · 7 points · 2 years ago
small trial, big effect, wide error bars
comment on bacteriostatic water — 16 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/reconstitution · 33 points · 2 years ago
The arithmetic in full: concentration is mass over volume, so 30mg into 1mL gives 30mg/mL. A U-100 syringe is graduated at 100 units per millilitre, so 1.5mg is 1.5 divided by 30 millilitres, which is 5 units.
comment on [Results] 45 weeks on 10mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 2 years ago
The constipation profile felt different rather than worse. Hard to describe and impossible to quantify, so take it as an impression.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about glucagon is guesswork in c/retatrutide · 143 points · 2 years ago
Has anyone posted an independent test on this compound recently?
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about glucagon is guesswork in c/retatrutide · 33 points · 2 years ago
Small fix — three receptors, not two. GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, and the third one is the reason this compound gets its own board.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about glucagon is guesswork in c/retatrutide · 109 points · 2 years ago
Correction: TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme. The number you are quoting is from the phase 2 readout, which is a different trial.
unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about glucagon is guesswork, and I am aware this is a minority view on this board. Where the evidence actually stands,…
comment on reading concentration threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/reconstitution · 53 points · 2 years ago
Yes. Writing 5mg/mL on the vial takes four seconds and removes the entire class of error this board exists to fix.
