ask what the beyond-use date is based on
comment on [Discussion] below spec is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/labresults · 179 points · 1 year ago
Date of analysis anchors the result to a manufacturing period. A two-year-old result is evidence about two years ago and should be read that way.
comment on [Discussion] the compounding advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/compounding · 66 points · 1 year ago
Push back: "compounded is fine because a pharmacy made it" skips every question this board exists to ask.

What was the comparator?
comment on [Meta] the Medutest rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/labresults · 23 points · 1 year ago

comment on someone explain state board to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/compounding · 420 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — 503B facilities register with the regulator; 503A pharmacies are licensed by the state board. Different mechanisms.
comment on [Lab] WWB BPC — Medutest came back 99.4% against a claimed 98.5% in c/labresults · 185 points · 1 year ago

What was the comparator?
Thinking out loud about this: the endpoint advice in here is 3 years out of date. 3 years — those are the numbers, and they are the ones I am willing to defend.…
comment on [Lab] 5th independent test on HJ — 99.2% on a claimed 99.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/labresults · 253 points · 2 years ago
Correction: that is the claimed figure, and the measured one is the higher of the two in your own screenshot.
comment on help me understand below spec, I have read the wiki twice in c/labresults · 114 points · 2 years ago
If the report gives a mass spectrum as well as UV purity, say so. Identity and relative quantity are separate claims and the log tracks both.
comment on the Netherlands: state board, and what it actually costs here in c/compounding · 376 points · 2 years ago
I would not read the price difference as a quality signal. Most of it is the consultation model, not the vial.
