comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about MHRA until somebody posts a number in c/glp1uk · 47 points · 1 year ago

I would not read a supply notice as a shortage in your pharmacy tomorrow.

This is why national advice does not work here. It is commissioned locally and it varies.

Two years and four months on a tier 3 list. Referral date and every letter kept, which turned out to matter when the service reorganised.

That is the first-month offer price, not the ongoing monthly cost. The tracker records the second one.

Yes, and the reason the wider-market table has no scores is that a score built on two reports would be a lie with a decimal point.

Right — QST publishes the method line on the certificate, and once you have seen one that does you notice every one that does not.

That is area percent, not mass percent. The trace cannot give you the second one.

What did system suitability look like on that sequence?

Small fix — the figure you quoted is the claimed purity from the certificate, and the independent result was the higher of the two.

the wider-market names in the table are there because nobody has enough data on them

WXT sent me the column, the gradient and the theoretical mass without being asked. That is a short list and they are on it.

Have you seen the special authorization criteria for your province?

Concentrations can differ between products and between pharmacies. Switching mid-titration means redoing the arithmetic rather than carrying the old unit count across.

GP said no and specialist said yes is a very common sequence

I would not read a supply notice as a shortage in your pharmacy tomorrow. They are not the same thing.

comment on the PeptideMeter question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/vendorvetting · 537 points · 2 years ago

Core Peptides came up in three threads the week I was ordering and I could not find a single independent result for them anywhere. Went with a documented supplier instead.

Small fix — that is the Scottish pathway. The post is asking about England and the answer is different.

Did the lot code on the vial match the paperwork?

comment on how much of what we believe about HPLC actually comes from gradient threads in c/hplc · 311 points · 2 years ago

Disagree. Inter-lab spread of a point or two on this assay is ordinary and calling it a discrepancy misleads people.

Correction: that supplier is in the documented twenty with a source page, not in the wider-market table. Different evidence bases entirely.
